President Zhou Meets with Liu Shihe, Secretary of CPC Laiwu Committee

On December 11, President Zhou Zhongshu and Li Lianhua, Member of Party Leadership met with a delegation led by Liu Shihe, Secretary of CPC Laiwu Committee and Mayor Yang Yixin in Beijing. They exchanged views on how to further enhance cooperation.

President Zhou extended his welcome to Secretary Liu and the delegation and expressed his gratitude to the Laiwu Municipal Committee and Municipal Government for their great support to Minmetals. President Zhou briefed Secretary Liu on the business performance of Minmetals and Minmetals Luzhong Mining Co., Ltd. as well as the latest development of Minmetals projects in Laiwu, expressing his willingness to enhance and deepen cooperation with Laiwu City for mutual benefits and common development. Secretary Liu briefed President Zhou on economic and social development as well as investment promotion in Laiwu City. He hoped that Minmetals would further strengthen its investment and expand the industrial chain, adding that the Laiwu Municipal Committee and Municipal Government would keep creating favorable environments for enterprise development and providing quality services. They also discussed specific cooperation projects.

Zong Qingsheng, Assistant President of Minmetals and General Manager of the Investment Management Department, General Office Director Ma Jun, Minmetals Mining Holdings Limited Deputy General Manager, and Xie Jixiang, General Manager of Minmetals Luzhong Mining were present at the meeting.
